An Army Life
There is a God who is and there is a god we want. They are not the same God. The turning point in our life is when we stop seeking the God we want and start seeking the God who is.
This page I will interject some of my own thoughts and convictions in a hope that what I have learned prior to coming to Kentucky Christian University may encourage others in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
The truth about speaking in tongues
Division is a sin when it comes to God's Family, according to John 20:20-23; I Corinthians 1: 10-12; 3:1-9. It has always been a common thing for mankind to contend that he or she was right in all areas of life. This is certainly true in the area of religion. Just about everyone under Christendom claims that they have the Bible to back-up what they believed to be the truth. Some say, "We use the Bible and the Bible only....", and this is far from the truth. All people living have come to their positions (religiously) because someone has taught them that this was the proper way (Teacher, Preacher, Professor, Commentator, etc.). When someone attempts to disagree with them, they are normally quick to call them names such as liberal, extremist, weak, fanatic, revolutioinary, radical, sheep, mindless, idoliters, so on and so on. No doubt, although Jesus prayed for His followers to Love One Another and to Be United,- man in his stubbornness will go in many different directions. This is just A FACT OF LIFE. I am certain that Jesus does not like this, just as He hates division in the home. However, in all of our disagreements, even though Jesus warned of false teachers (II Peter 2:1), may w be people exhibiting the spirit of love as Jesus taught us (John 13: 34-35). THE BIBLE MUST ALWAYS BE THE STANDARD.
